GO GREEN AND GET GREEN Sabal Point Elementary School is expanding its waste reduction and recycling program to include PAPER and we need the support of our neighbors and friends in Sweetwater Oaks. Recycling offers a money saving alternative to waste disposal while conserving energy and natural resources. Sabal Point Elementary will receive money on a per ton basis for all paper placed in the recycling dumpster. The dumpster is located on the Sweetwater Walker side of the school, adjacent to 7-Eleven. ACCEPTING: newspaper, office paper, magazines, catalogs, shredded paper, fax paper, flyers, envelopes, and newsletters. NOT ACCEPTING: garbage, glass, metal, plastic bags, phone books, wrapping paper, bows or cardboard (there is a separate dumpster for cardboard). Please encourage your friends and neighbors to recycle paper in the Sabal Point - Money Back Paper Dumpster. Our goal is 4,000 pounds, which is equal to 80 families recycling their daily newspaper. Please help us meet this goal Any questions, please contact Catherine Harrs at 407-859-2767 or catherineharrs@gmail.com. Thank you for helping Sabal Point Elementary establish its commitment to the environment and to the future of our children. 12/31/09 |
